20th Workshop on
Stochastic Geometry,
Stereology and
Image Analysis

Sunday is arrival day. The scientific programme starts on Monday morning and ends on Friday around noon.

Venue:

Sandbjerg Estate, Sandbjergvej 102, DK-6400 Sønderborg, Denmark.

Important Dates

  • Deadline for registration: 1 April, 2019
  • Deadline for submission of abstracts: 1 April, 2019

Scope of the Workshop

This workshop is the 20th in a biennial series of meetings, bringing together researchers and practitioners working with random geometric objects. The goal of the conference is to promote advances in all branches of stochastic geometry and related fields including, but not limited to, the theory of point processes, integral geometry, stereology, discrete and continuum percolation and random graphs, spatial statistics, bioimaging and all other application areas of spatial stochastic modeling.

The workshop will have longer talks by invited speakers and shorter contributed talks by the participants, as well as a poster session.

Registration and abstract submission

The registration fee is DKK 3000, corresponding to approx. EUR 400, covering accommodation, meals, workshop dinner, and excursion. Registration fee for accompanying persons is DKK 2600, corresponding to approx. EUR 350.

Registration has ended.

Guidelines for abstract submission can be found under Abstracts in the menu.

Travel Grants

A number of travel grants for young researchers (DKK 2500, corresponding to approx. EUR 330) is available upon application.

Please include in your application your CV, an abstract of your presentation, using the template at http://csgb.dk/activities/2019/sgsia2019/abstracts/, and a letter of support from your supervisor.

The application should be sent to: SGSIA2019@csgb.dk.
